Get the most out of your trip

We will focus on practicing conversations to get you ready to talk and communicate with locals. You don't want to miss out on what that old guy in the town square has to say. Trust me, they always have the best stories!

Learn at your pace and style

Visual learner? We'll watch videos and learn from them.
Reading/writing learner? We'll mostly focus on written conversations.
Struggling with learning?
No problem, I have the patience of a saint... That's what everybody tells me, so it must be true.

Lessons that fit your schedule

Busy with work? Worried about staying consistent?
Worry no more! I guarantee maximum flexibility and you can cancel or reschedule anytime. I understand that plans change and things happen.
I was born and raised in Italy but now live in the US, specifically Florida, so there's little to no time difference involved.

Duomo di Firenze

Sure, touristy places are super cool, and some are a must...

...but you can't miss the authentic, traditional side of this beautiful country. And people there will speak to you in Italian.

The best family-run restaurants only have menus in Italian.
People who embody Italian traditions (think Italian grandpas) hardly speak any English.
Cool events and town fairs across the Country will almost certainly be in Italian.
Everywhere you go, far from the touristy side of Italy...
(*spoiler* those are the BEST places)
you'll hear Italian and need it to communicate.

Not to mention that, unfortunately, tourist traps are pretty common in Italy, especially in major cities like Rome.
Don't fall for it.
Speaking Italian will save you from many of them.

Delicious Pizza

Definitely not a tourist trap restaurant's pizza here

You could use a translator to get by... but trust me, it won't be the same. Not even close.

Luca and Andrea in Florence

Me (on the left) and my cousin Andrea in Florence

I was born in Milan, Italy, and grew up on mom's pasta and nonna's lasagna. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water.I lived there until 2019, then moved to the U.S. and even called Amsterdam home for a year and a half.I traveled a lot in my life. Visited more than 20 countries. I love the feeling you get when you exit the airport, and the world out there is different from what you're used to.That's the feeling I got when I arrived in Florida for the first time.
And I'm sure it was the same for you on your first trip to Italy.
(Or if you haven't been yet... well, you'll see. I'm excited for you).
Seeing different cultures and hearing other languages is amazing, but I know for a fact that the whole experience gets so much better when you understand said languages.I wish I had understood Portuguese when I visited Salvador, Brazil.

Salvador, Brazil

Beautiful place, by the way.

It was one of the best trips of my life but if I could have fully immersed myself in the culture and freely conversed with everyone... It would have been twice as good.
Something was missing.
That's why I strongly encourage you to learn some Italian before your trip. It gives you the freedom to visit less touristy places and connect better with locals.
It really takes the experience to the next level.

Narrow road to the lake

Italy is full of hidden gems.

And you return home with way more interesting stories to tell (and maybe even visit that remote town your grandma is from without constantly relying on the translator app on your phone). Not to mention, you get to learn what's arguably the most romantic and musical language on Earth.
And you get to keep it long after your trip ;)
Non vedo l'ora di conoscerti!
